Alien abduction – fact or fantasy? Our ideas about alien abduction are colored, or created, by media representations. Most of us believe that alien abductees are taken from their bedrooms or their cars in the night by small grey aliens, with large, dark, almond-shaped eyes. The abductees are medically examined, probed, sometimes implanted or sexually abused before being returned.

This preconception oversimplifies a tremendously rich and complex range of phenomena; these anthologies aim to introduce interested readers to that richness and complexity.

This is an anthology of four Close Encounter Experiencers' journals, two from the United States and two from England. Apart from the fascinating events described, we are privileged to share these people's innermost fears and their journeys to begin to understand their extraordinary and life-shattering experiences.

The way the data have been gathered has freed them from any unintentional interference by UFO researchers or any investigative hypnotist, and has preserved these stories untouched for the future to decipher. These Experiencers were simply asked to create their journal in their own words. In these pages the original data are now preserved for the future.
